Ferro’s (Stryker, OH) light blocker concentrates offer a cost-effective method of packaging light-sensitive retort products. Five pastel shades provide protection from both visible and UV light for nutrients in milk-based products yet allow packaging in white or light-colored plastics.
Resin types are available for all plastic packaging systems except PET. Can be utilized with most industry standard plastics processing methods to produce blow-molded bottles, injection-molded containers, and thermoformed sheets.
