Edson SR 3600 Robotic Mixed-product Packer
The Edson SR 3600 robotic mixed-product large case and tray packer features a FANUC robot that can pick different-sized cartons from a conveyor and side-load packages into large shipping cases. The IO-Link enabled sensors collect diagnostic and statistical information, while IO-Link and Ethernet valve terminals control all the pneumatics. A tankless adhesive melter and application head provide no-contact applications of thermoplastic hot melt adhesive at a rate of 800 dots per second. A barcode reader detects the acceptability of cases as each is discharged from the packer.
