Pouches, bags and plastic films are pliable, unevenly shaped, and often have folds, creases, and seams, complicating material handling operations. Vaccon’s CDF Air Amplifiers generate high vacuum flow, overcoming leaks inherent in handling uneven surfaces. With or without a vacuum cup, CDF Air Amplifiers quickly and safely transfer irregularly shaped items to increase productivity.

Powered by a combination of compressed and ambient air, CDF Air Amplifiers are energy efficient achieving amplification ratios as high as 40:1 (output to input). For additional efficiency, CDF Series pumps are field adjustable to control the air velocity and flow to meet specific customer requirements.  CDF’s pumps are economical, running only when needed, unlike electric blowers that must run continuously. To meet medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing chemical compatibility requirements, the CDF Series is available in stainless steel, Teflon®, Delrin®, PEEK, PVC and more.
