Buskro debuted its Package Personalization System (PPS) during PACK EXPO Connects to help users that have a warehouse full of multiple SKU’s of pre-printed packaging. The PPS could drastically reduce SKU’s with late stage personalization and branding, using one carton to package multiple products, according to Kyle Kropman, marketing coordinator at Buskro Ltd.
The system has been developed for variable data printing and personalization. Built on its Modular Transport Base, the Package Personalization System can be customized for any packaging substrate. The PPS can feed the package in its KDF state, edge register, apply a brand security label, print on the label, print on the package, and verify both prints before passing a diverter and exiting onto a conveyor. If users have additional requirements such as RFID encoding, Duplex printing, or CMYK printing, the system can also handle that.
