The patented collation method on Paal's (Remshalden, Germany) Elematic® P 4000 case packer accumulates pouches by collecting them from the conveyor in a vertical position, held upright by two plates on either end of the row of pouches.

After pouches are conveyed to the case and lowered in, the lid is put in place. The machine runs at speeds to 1ꯠ pouches/min or 35 cases/min, and no tools are needed for changeover.
