Nercon expands sales team

Mike Sherwood and Phillip Chambers will manage the Northeast and Southest regions, respectively, as Nercon’s new sales managers.

Nercon, a manufacturer of custom and modular conveying systems, hired sales managers for both the Northeast and Southeast U.S. regions.

Mike Sherwood will be based out of Lancaster, PA and will cover the Northeast region. His background in industrial sales and sales engineering support will allow him to hit the ground running and supporting customers. Sherwood has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Princeton University and a master’s degree in information systems from Penn State University.

Phillip Chambers will be based out of Knoxville, TN and he will cover the Southeast region, which includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Phillip brings an extensive background in conveying systems, starting his career as a millwright and working up to Sales Engineer. His range of experience has allowed him to gain insights to various stages in the conveyor system design and fabrication. Phillip has a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology (automation) from Mississippi State University.
