The 500 series is easy to convert from non-contact to contact glue
patterns. Simply change the output nozzle to the type of glue pattern
desired. No valve modifications or special adapters are required. Valco
Melton’s AS302 optical glue pattern sensor, designed for use with the
500 series valve, can verify glue patterns or dots at speeds up to
600m/min. The 524 valve and AS302 sensor work together for folding
carton, specialty corrugated, envelope and other high-speed finishing
and converting applications.
