Machine vision with color recognition

The new CV-751 machine vision system from Keyence (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) is equipped with shade scale technology to provide users with color recognition and detection approaching that of the human eye, company says.

System can also perform fast pattern search and measurement at speeds 10 times faster than conventional systems, company says. All processing and control functions are built into the CV-751 controller, which can store up to 8 screen images in a separate built-in memory. System includes sub-pixel (0.1 pixel) measurement, illumination adjustment and normalized correlation against image illumination changes, and an analog output for data recording.
