The Vegatronic 400XL from Ilapak (Newton, PA) is an improved version of its standard vf/f/s machine. To facilitate settling of product in the bag, 5" have been added between the jaws and the forming tube.

Also new is an Allen- Bradley SLC 503/504 PLC with PanelView(TM) operator inter-face. An adjustable film vibrating unit has been incorporated between the jaws and forming tube to eliminate product sticking to the film. Vacuum feed belts and product stripping are now standard features. Suitable for fresh-cut produce and salads. Speeds to 40 to 50 bags/min.
