The new automatic blending system at Goodwin Company’s California facility allows for the blending of products like antifreeze and diesel exhaust fluid in hours instead of days.

Goodwin Company, a chemical contract manufacturer, added an automatic blending system to their Garden Grove, CA, facility. The new system offers automatic induction recirculation blending in a 500-gallon-per-minute format.

Functional fluids are complicated to blend, and traditional systems can take up to two to three days. Now, it's possible to blend and batch these formulas in as little as three hours thanks to the faster blend and induction recirculation this system offers.

Rather than pouring powder or liquid chemicals from the top, you pour at the bottom of the tank. The system will recirculate it to the top, allowing for automatic filling without manual measurements.

"We want our clients to experience faster blending than ever before," said Don Goodwin, Goodwin's President. "This blending system will significantly streamline the batching and blending process."
