That's done by a dispensing dial that clicks as it turns, providing audible feedback to the user. Supplied by Creative Packaging (Buffalo Grove, IL), the bottom-filled package also has a unique liner inside the cover to prevent inadvertent product dispensing while capped. For container strength, clarity and gloss, as well as chemical compatibility, Eastman's (Kingsport, TN) Eastapak® polyethylene terephthalate copolyester was selected to injection-mold the barrel, applicator screw and applicator dial. Other components are molded of polypropylene and polyethylene. The 2-mil PP wraparound p-s labels are screen/letterpress-printed in 4 colors by Quality Assured Label (Minnetonka, MN).
