MODULAR CONTAINERS FOR CASE-READY MEAT

After consulting with engineers, corrugated manufacturing companies, retailers, meat and poultry suppliers, and primary package manufacturers, the corrugated packaging community developed two corrugated modular systems for case-ready meat.

Coordinated by the Fibre Box Assn., the systems will be introduced in two footprints: one “five-down” (fitting five containers “down” per layer on a standard GMA pallet), and a “long six-down” version that fits six containers with the sides parallel to the length of a GMA pallet.
