Both statements were modified from wine industry suggestions...Separately, U.S. wine producers are fighting a regulation by BATF that no longer allows them to label wine made from White Riesling grapes as "Johannesburg Riesling."

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has approved two statements that winemakers can put on their labels touting the "health effects" of wine, after three years of lobbying by the wine industry.
