The brushless EC motor promotes a long service life and easily automated changeover operations save production time. Activation can be via CANopen, Ethernet/IP and I/O-Interface, EtherCAT or PROFINET. Other features include a wide range of gear ratios, the free Festo Configuration Tool (FCT), an integrated CANopen interface (M12), and an optional IP65 rating for use in harsh environments.
