Smurfit-Stone: Brighter linerboard

Premium white top linerboard from Smurfit-Stone Board Sales is now available with a brightness level that’s been increased by up to 80%. Produced at the company’s mill in La Tuque, Quebec, Canada, the new board offers better print contrast, more holdout than typical white liner grades, and better graphic reproduction, says the manufacturer.

The premium white top liner can be post-printed and is suitable for process, line art, or high-coverage solids. Available in basis weights of 31, 36, or 42 #.
