Its continuous-feed action eliminates downtime by allowing the operator to easily replenish the tray blanks load while the machine is running; there is no need to stop the machine in order to restock the hopper. Positive top vacuum infeed helps to alleviate problems with warped corrugated. Trays enter the forming section in the horizontal position, glue is applied, and the finished tray is released from the machine ready for use. Produces 25 trays/minute, and high-speed upgrades are available. Downtime for changeovers is estimated at 5 minutes. Standard features include a 6 in. color touch screen with PLC, and an optional glue maintenance package with stack beacon. Clear polycarbonate guarding doors open horizontally to provide easy access to components.
