Lexmark Intl. Introduces its new thermal ink-jet print technology for OEM customers who are developing variable data industrial printing applications.

The Lexmark Mustang Printer industrial ink-jet system can be easily integrated by the OEM with an end-user's existing transport base or packaged by the OEM as part of a ready-to-run variable data printing solution. At speeds to 760'/min and print resolutions to 600 dpi, system is idea for industrial printing applications that require high performance, cost-effective variable data imaging such as mail addressing, product coding, packaging, tickets, barcode labels, bills, and statements. Multiple imaging modules can be combined on one printer, enabling a total imprint area of up to 8" in a single pass.
