Repulpable splicing tape

A new repulpable, single-coated flatback tape for core starting, end tabbing and butt splicing of heavy corrugated papers has been developed by tesa tape (Charlotte, NC).

Pw 25878 Anewrepsin 43

Called tesa 51441, it has a special, printable backing with repulpability in the range of pH 3-9. Offers good shear resistance, high tack and adhesion. The 4.9-mil tape is Kraft brown and does not come with a protective liner. Suitable for edge protection of paper or paperboard reels during transport or general taping jobs in the paper and printing industries.
