Siemens’ new 15-, 19- and 22-in. widescreen Industrial Flat Panels (IFP) feature multi-touch, intuitive five-finger operator input, scratch-proof glass fronts and highly luminous displays; units recognize multiple gestures in applications where the computer (IPC) and the HMI units are mounted separately.

The rugged Simatic® IFP1500, IFP1900 and IFP2200 monitors’ Projective Capacitive Touch (PCT) control units include an intelligent operating error recognition feature that distinguishes intentional operator input from accidental hand touches. The wide screen TFT monitors feature 16 colors and are 100 percent dimmable. Image resolutions are 1366 x 768 for the IFP1500, 1366 x 768 for the IFP1900 and 1920 x 1800 for the IFP2200. The CE/UL approved panels’ voltage supply is 24V DC and 100-240V AC.
