Brenton Engineering expands Center of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence facility

Brenton Engineering, powered by Pro Mach, has announced it is expanding its Center of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence in Alexandria, MN with an addition of 25,000 sq ft to accommodate growth in its packaging machinery solutions business including Brenton case packers and robotics, Currie by Brenton palletizers, and Orion stretch wrappers.

The expansion will provide additional manufacturing capacity necessary to test sophisticated end-of-line systems.

The new addition to the manufacturing facility and resources will significantly increase Brenton’s production capacity and improve the overall flow of the production processes.

“Brenton has an impressive history of growth,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach President and CEO. “Pro Mach is proud of their past success and to support another project to strengthen Brenton’s position for advancement in the packaging industry and Alexandria community.”

Construction is expected to be complete in the fall of 2014, giving the facility more than 225,000 sq ft of manufacturing and office space.

“We are committed to our customers and their growing demand for our products,” said Jason Enninga, VP of Sales. “The additional space will allow us to meet current and future demands for the Brenton, Currie and Orion product lines.”
