FOX IV appoints Ronald J. Maietta new Manager of Lean Manufacturing

FOX IV Technologies, Inc., automated labeling and coding provider, has appointed Ronald J. Maietta as its new Manager of Lean Manufacturing, making him responsible for evaluating FOX IV's current processes and departments and implementing lean manufacturing procedures with the goal of increasing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Maietta has a strong background in managing, implementing and administering lean manufacturing programs and continuous improvement processes.  Also, he has experience in plant management, labor and manufacturing management, as well as safety/environmental engineering  functions.  Previous accomplishments include: redesigning a preparation process that reduced scrap and rework by 20% at a $60million company, lean manufacturing conversion at a $15 million manufacturer that resulted in a $500,000 labor savings, and a 50% increase in on-time shipments at an $18 million manufacturer.
