Multisorb hires David Elliason and Darcle Nielsen as Business Development Leaders for its Food Packaging Sector

To support its strategic efforts toward global expansion in the food and beverage packaging market, Multisorb Technologies, a leader in active packaging technology, has appointed David Elliason to the position of Business Development Leader – Food and Beverage Packaging for North America, and Darcle Nielsen to the position of Business Development Leader – Food and Beverage Packaging for Western Europe.

Elliason, who lives in Northfield, MN, will report to Robert Sabdo, Market Leader - North American Food and Beverage Packaging. Elliason will support the company’s continued efforts to provide quality technical sales and support for this market.

Elliason possesses solid technical sales experience, formerly holding positions in sales as a national account project leader and territory sales representative in the packaging industry.
He also brings a strong technical background, having earned bachelor’s degrees in microbiology and in biochemistry and a master’s degree in food science from the University of Minnesota.

Like Elliason, Nielsen’s addition will also strengthen Multisorb’s position as a global expert in customized sorbent solutions. Nielsen, who is positioned in Milan, Italy will report to Jim Renda, President. In her role, Nielsen will be responsible for the support of current customers and the development of new business in Western Europe.

Nielsen brings with her vast knowledge in food science and packaging as well as a strong international sales background. She previously held positions in the packaging industry as a sales and business development manager, senior business development manager, and European and Latin America sales manager.
In addition to her experience, she holds an MBA in international business from University of Sao Paulo and a chemical engineer degree from Mackenzie University, Brazil.
