Fowler Products earns Diageo Quality Excellence Award for 2013

For the second year in a row, Fowler Products, powered by Pro Mach, and its French partner, Perrier Bottling Machines have been recognized by distilled spirits producer Diageo, with their Quality Excellence award.

Over the last two years, Fowler has supplied six Perrier bottle cleaning and filling systems that were also integrated with Fowler/Zalkin capping systems into the two Diageo facilities operating in the United States.

For the fulfillment of these projects, Diageo worked exclusively with Fowler Products. Fowler provided the associated project management and logistics with its operating partners, Perrier and Zalkin. Fowler developed the integrated control software for the systems and then designed and assembled all of the control cabinets, wiring, and electric components, assuring compliance with all applicable codes (NEC, UL, DISCUS, etc.) required for machinery operating in the spirits industry. Fowler also developed and provided operator and maintenance training and helped to develop and integrate the sophisticated clean-in-place (CIP) systems.

The Quality Excellence award is given to the supplier that delivers a significant and critical project on time and on budget with exceptional leadership. Award winners must also demonstrate the kinds of creativity that result in exceptional value to Diageo.  “We are honored to have been recognized by Diageo for the second year in a row as a winner of a Vendor Recognition Award from a field of world-class suppliers” said Don Cotney, President and General Manager, Fowler Products Company.
