Delkor celebrates with an Open House

A steady downpour could not dampen the spirits of Delkor president Dale Andersen and colleagues as they celebrated their move to a new facility with an open house event June 12. The sparkling new 114,000 sq.-ft. plant in St. Paul, MN, lets the growing firm combine all of its operations into a single, cohesive facility specially designed to maximize production and integrate all business operations.

In his opening remarks Andersen recounted the dark days of 2008-2009, when prospects for any capital equipment manufacturer were grim at best. But rather than cut back on people and talent, Delkor management chose to stay the course and keep on investing—in people, R&D, and new-machine development. The decision proved to be a sound one. By Pack Expo 2011, Delkor had seven brand new technology breakthroughs to exhibit. As Andersen told his Open House audience, “We were poised for recovery.” Attendees at the Open House had a good chance to see the fruits of that recovery during their tour of Delkor’s new facility.
