SteriPack, an Irish based company announces the grand opening of its first North American facility in Lakeland, Florida.
The new plant is ISO 13485 Certified and will manufacture products in an ISO class 8 clean room duplicating its sister companies in Ireland, Poland and Malaysia to service the North and South American markets.
SteriPack USA will offer clean room manufactured Pouches, Header Bags, SteriBags, Die Cut Lids and Rollstock, Contract Manufacturing and many other innovative packaging products dedicated to the medical industry. (Contract Manufacturing includes packaging services; a brochiure is available here.)
“SteriPack has been exploring several options in the US for the past three years to find the ideal situation and location, said Tony Paolino, president, SteriPack USA. Paolino adds “The facility is a 'first in class' operation and draws on the nearly 20 years of experience that SteriPack has manufacturing converted products and providing contract manufacturing services in a class 8 clean room.”
With this new facility in the US SteriPack is now positioned to provide converted products in Europe, Asia and now the Americas utilizing the same processes and quality systems in each facility offering continuity in supply to global customers using flexible packaging all over the world.
The demand for a US location was driven by requests from many of the existing US based customers who have locations in Europe and in Asia and want the same level of quality and service they’ve become accustomed to from SteriPack.
