Sensortech System’s NIR 6000 Series analyzer provides converting specialists with an effective process management and control tool. The NIR 6000 Series precision instruments incorporate the latest advancements in near-infrared reflectance (NIR) technology for continuous monitoring of customers’ products.

Moisture measurement, coat weight, basis weight, and coating consistency are all measured in real-time, providing in-line control capability. Sensortech’s standard of precision measurement and reliable performance greatly enhance measurement and control of paper, nonwovens, films, and other specialty web-converting applications.

The NIR Series of moisture analyzers offer an array of interfaces that accommodate water immersion, protection from dust, and severe temperature. Additionally, the company manufactures numerous application interfaces and options designed to integrate the NIR Series into a customer’s particular manufacturing process.

The NIR Series can be used as a standalone instrument or in a networked multi-sensor configuration. The NIR Series product line is equipped with Ethernet TCP/IP, RS-232, and RS-485 protocols in addition to three self-powered isolated 4-20mA outputs; these standard features are included with every analyzer.

The NIR Series includes a proprietary PC-based software package that offers an accelerated view of the production process from a desktop or laptop computer. General measurement reading, data logging, calibration utilities, and numerous configurations are among the many features included with the NIR Series proprietary software.
