Dole Moving Closer to Carbon Neutral Promise

The company is partnering with Symbior Solar to expand renewable energy sourcing to its processing facilities in the Philippines.

Dole Asia

Dole Asia Holdings has signed a contract with Symbior Solar, which will install more than 33,000 square meters of solar panels at Dole facilities in Thailand and the Philippines. The panels will generate more than 6,000 MWh of renewable energy annually and reduce CO2 emissions by over 100,000 metric tons over the next 15 years. Symbior Solar has already set up a 3 Wp solar voltaic plant, which is generating almost 4,000 MWh of renewable energy annually at Dole’s Hua Hin facility in Thailand.
