Sidel and Gebo Cermex formed a single company named Sidel.

Rockwell Automation Inc. acquired Emulate3D, an engineering software developer whose products display digitally simulated and emulated industrial automation systems.

World Wide Packaging changed its name to WWP.

Nidec Corp. agreed to acquire 70% of DESCH Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG and its group companies in Germany and China.

ProAmpac has formed a specialty packaging team for the home, health, and beauty markets.

Toray Plastics (America), Inc. invested in a state-of-the-art 8.7-meter PP film line and is constructing a new building to house the equipment. Construction should be completed in 2020.
