Show Daily Exclusive - Duravant (Booth S-2147) is sharing its booth for the first time with three recent acquisitions, Key Technology, Ohlson Packaging and QC Industries. Key Technology (Booth E-7118) also is exhibiting on the upper floor of the Lakeside Center, and QC Industries (Booth S-4314) also has space in the South Hall.

The purchase of Ohlson Packaging expands Duravant’s capabilities in weighing, counting and filling machines and strengthens the company’s integration and service capabilities.

Key Technology, now a wholly owned subsidiary, brings advanced automation systems for food processing and other end markets. Its portfolio includes highly intelligent optical inspection and digital sorting systems, vibratory conveying systems and process and preparation systems and significantly extends Duravant’s reach across food processing. With corporate headquarters in Walla Walla, Washington, and facilities in The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia and Mexico, Key Technology serves national and multinational customers with technical, mechanical and optical hardware and software designed to optimize yield, quality and efficiency.

Ohlson Packaging has designed and manufactured quality automatic and semiautomatic netweighing and counting machines since 1967. The product lineup consists of combination and linear weighers, vertical baggers, pouch machines, bucket elevators, rotary tables and supply hoppers, which handle packaging for many major brands particularly in the food industry. Applications include bags, bottles, boxes, premade pouches, cups, containers, trays and modified-atmosphere packaging.

QC Industries extends Duravant’s material handling product portfolio with in-process conveying solutions and strengthens the company’s integration and automation capabilities. A specialist in low-profile conveyors, its product portfolio includes belt conveyor systems for automation, sanitary and industrial applications and includes a broad range of standard, quick-ship models as well as fully custom designs. An online configuration system with an intelligent virtual assistant guides conveyor selection and design for brand owners, integrators and original equipment manufacturers.

Duravant serves customers and partners in more than 190 countries across multiple sectors including food and beverage, agriculture, household goods, pharmaceuticals, distribution and industrial. With a portfolio of world-class brands and automation solutions, Duravant connects equipment, integration and lifecycle management through the company’s SupportPro services.
