Packaging World offers condolences to Tuesday's attack victims

It’s an understatement to say Tuesday, September 11, 2001 changed our lives. After an exciting first day at Pack Expo Las Vegas, we all awoke early Tuesday morning with some adrenaline flowing and looked forward to a busy second day at the Sands Convention Center…that is until we turned on our TVs and learned of the terrifying attacks on our nation.

The images on TV were surreal and we were overcome with emotion and concern. Our team gathered in the hotel lobby and decided that where we needed to be was home. We (luckily) rented a couple vans and headed back to Chicago non-stop to join our families.

Word’s aren’t enough at a time like this, but the staff of Packaging World joins everyone in the United States and around the world offering condolences to those directly affected by Tuesday’s tragedy. We all share in the pain and the grief of those who mourn the loss of loved ones.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with you.
