Huhtamaki plans to end JV with EarthShell

Huhtamaki, the Finland-based worldwide paper packaging company, says it has initiated procedures for ending its 1999 joint-venture with U.S.-based EarthShell Corp.. Huhtamaki had planned to manufacture and market biodegradable foodservice packaging in Europe and potentially in parts of Asia.
