The number one obstacle preventing e-commerce at packaging suppliers, according to survey results, was that customers aren’t set up to buy through the Internet. Other obstacles: Suppliers don’t want to lose the relationships they’ve developed with customers, nor do vendors have clearly defined e-commerce departments to lead the way. (DN/JB)
