Marking its fourth appearance at the big game, StadiumTRAY featuring Visa logos was distributed at all concession stands in Sun Life Stadium at Sunday’s Super Bowl. Malnove, which made the innovative tray, was able to streamline the challenging process of securing approvals from the NFL and Visa by using ArtiosCAD 3D software from Esko. The 3D online approval process expedited production ordering so that Malnove was able to have the trays at Sun Life Stadium one week prior to the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl StadiumTRAY held up to four beverages and also had room in the center for food items. “When the NFL contacted me about providing StadiumTRAYs for the Super Bowl, they specifically requested that we design a tray with a commemorative look and feel featuring the Visa logo,” says George Poston, president of Stadium TRAY. “Upon their approval of the final artwork, the NFL Events Department said that we had exceeded their expectations. Although we have provided our food and beverage trays at previous Super Bowl events, we usually take the sponsors camera-ready creative and print it on our trays. This year we wanted something really unique for Super Bowl XLIV, and I believe we have achieved that objective.”
