Weigh hopper rated for pneumatic conveying pressure differentials
Flexicon Weigh Hopper

Created for dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems, the Flexicon weigh hopper with a fill/pass valve is suspended from 3 small-scale load cells. As the hopper fills, the load cells transmit weight gain information to a PLC. Once the batch weight has been reached, the valve redirects material away from the hopper, and the controller actuates a slide gate valve to open, discharging the weighed batch. Single or multiple hoppers can be positioned along a common vacuum or positive-pressure pneumatic conveying line for discharging dry bulk solids into process equipment or storage vessels. Constructed of stainless steel finished to industrial or sanitary standards, the hopper is suitable for virtually any food processing application.
