Sligan metal lug closure
Featuring a minimum of 5 lugs, the Silgan ParaPET metal lug closure distributes pressure evenly around a PET container’s neck during a hot-fill process; the stepped radius design stabilizes the container neck during exposure to heat. As the closure is applied, the neck is forced into its channel, which is lined with a compound that provides lateral stability, holding the neck secure as the closure is tightened. Available in 63, 70 and 82mm sizes, the closure can be used on most existing production line equipment.
