Flexicon BULK-OUT bulk bag weigh batch unloading system
The Flexicon BULK-OUT bulk bag weigh batch unloading system includes a flexible screw conveyor that automatically conveys weighed batches of contamination-sensitive materials to downstream processes. The discharger frame is equipped with a cantilevered I-beam with an electric hoist and trolley for positioning bulk bags, while a clamp ring on top of a telescoping tube connects the clean side of the bag spout to the clean side of the equipment intake and maintains downward tension on the bag as it empties and elongates. A bag dump station with a folding bag shelf allows manual dumping of minor additions into the hopper from handheld packaging and containers.
