Allied Signal Specialty Films: Extra barrier film

AlliedSignal (Morristown, NJ) has announced a new lower pricing structure for its Oxyshield® biaxally oriented extra barrier film structure it refers to as PA6/EVOH/PA6.

The new pricing offers raw material cost savings of 8% to 25%, the company says. Suitable for large industrial food pouches, Oxyshield BOEB is available on 3" cores in lengths up to 8ꯠ meters.
