First use of Ecolean in Mexico

Mexico City-based Alpura, a leading dairy producer in Mexico, is the first in that country to commercialize an innovative stand-up pouch that has become quite popular around the world.

Ecolean, a Sweden-based producer of lightweight packages and efficient filling systems, partnered with Alpura to add aseptic flexible packages to Alpura’s production capabilities.Now Alpura’s cooking cream Media Crema isavailable in both 125-mL and 200-mL Ecolean® Air Aseptic packages in Mexico in all retail channels across the country.

According to Alpura, which processes around3.5 million L of milk per day and sells more than 100 products, it added the aseptic flexible packaging from Ecolean because the package is easy to use and has a low environmental impact.
