PUMA's 'Clever Little Bag'

Sports lifestyle company PUMA has developed a greener footwear package as part of a company-wide initiative to reduce PUMA’s “paw print.”

A collaboration with industrial designer Yves Behar, the Clever Little Bag replaces the paperboard shoebox with a reusable shoe bag that protects each pair of shoes from damage from the point it leaves the factory until the consumer takes it home. The bag is said to generate savings on the production side due to less material used, reduce weight during transport, and eliminate the need for extra plastic carrier bags. greenerpackage.com/node/2502
