&?ible packaging and labeling applications hit the jackpot at the Luxor Hotel & Casino, capturing Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards from the Films Business of ExxonMobil Chemical. The 17th annual awards were held in conjunction with PackExpo Las Vegas 2003.

“Our customers continue to impress us with the types of packaging and labels they employ for their products,” said Jim Ashmore, Americas, sales and marketing manager, ExxonMobil Chemical. “The Golden Mummy and Pyramid Awards are our chance to recognize those applications that are truly innovative and effective.”

Golden Mummy Award winners included a multipack wrapper for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, a combination of two ExxonMobil Chemical films for Hershey Foods, and another pair of ExxonMobil Chemical films for Gorge Delights Pear Bar.

Pyramid Award winners included an extended-text label for McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals, a roll-on shrink-on label that decorates a Coca-Cola bottle, and a label for Reckitt Benckiser’s Old English furniture polish products. —PR
