In Panama, some toothpaste imported from China contained the lethal chemical diethylene glycol. While the Food and Drug Administration has not found contaminated toothpaste in the United States, it is taking precautions after melamine found in pet food imported from China sickened thousands of cats and dogs.Source: Pet Connection.com/blog
