The “Always good, always Hood” tagline used by Lynnfield, MA-based HP Hood, which distributes dairy products throughout the U.S., can now apply to its new easy-to-squeeze high-density polyethylene bottle for sour cream.

The injection-molded 12-oz, recyclable bottle joins Hood’s existing lineup of 8-, 16-, and 24-oz tubs. Other packaging components include a separate cap with valve that screws onto the bottle, and two labels—one applied to the front of the bottle, another to the back. Packaging suppliers were not disclosed.

“Whether it’s a holiday or every day, consumers rely on Hood Sour Cream to enhance their family meals,” says Sarah Barow, HP Hood’s Director of Communications. “We’re proud to introduce the new squeeze bottle to allow consumers to easily add the delicious taste of Hood Sour Cream to their favorite dishes, while making clean-up easier than ever.”

The new sour cream squeeze bottle is available now in the dairy aisle at grocery stores across New England. The company now operates 13 U.S. manufacturing plants.
