Dairy settles labeling suit
Monsanto, the sole manufacturer of growth hormones used in milk, settled a suit with a Maine dairy over a dairy’s labeling of its milk. The corporation charged that the dairy’s claim that its farmers don’t use artificial growth hormones in their milk production is misleading and implies that there is something wrong with these hormones.
