Labelers upgradeable to RFID

Weber Marking Systems’ new RFID Ready program makes it possible for companies to obtain Weber label printers and printer-applicators that can be upgraded in the future to include the RFID technology.

The RFID Ready models, which include select standalone printers and Weber’s Model 5200 printer-applicator, can be modified for easy upgrade to multiprotocol encoders that support EPC-compatible and other UHF standards. Those encoders will support protocols that are the most current at the time of conversion.
