She has less experience in food-related issues, but the major food trade associations said they looked forward to explaining their priorities. Among them is labeling uniformity. FDA also will develop and implement the regulations for any food safety legislation now being considered by Congress, as well as oversee implementation of last year's FDA reform bill.
