Shibuya Hoppmann, a global expert in aseptic filling and automation systems, announces it will exhibit at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, taking place September 29 to October 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At South Lower Hall Booth S-12009, Shibuya Hoppmann will highlight a complete system featuring the EP8 Prefeeder paired with the FS-30 Feeder and an integrated labeler applying labels to lip balm containers.

The EP8 Elevating Prefeeder is engineered to handle a variety of medium-sized, lightweight parts, delivering a consistent supply to high-speed packaging lines to minimize downtime and maintain optimal bowl feeder levels. Its 8 cubic feet, one-piece formed stainless steel hopper works with a cleated elevator belt featuring a nominal 2-inch cleat height and 6-inch cleat pitch for maximum product loading and smooth transfer. Operating at an average belt speed of 32 feet per minute, the EP8 uses a heavy-duty variable-speed motor to ensure proper product metering. The FDA/USDA-approved white 1-ply solid woven polyester belting with a 1/16-inch PVC coating and PVC cleats supports hygienic operations, while the hopper clean-out door allows for quick and easy maintenance. Designed for quiet, reliable operation, the EP8 accommodates a wide range of product sizes and shapes while supporting continuous production. Its robust yet compact construction allows for easy placement in space-limited environments, while its smooth product flow helps protect delicate items from damage during transfer.

Downstream, the FS-30 centrifugal feeder provides rapid, precise orientation and delivery of parts for labeling or further processing. Known for its gentle handling and versatility, the FS-30 can be adapted for a variety of product geometries, offering manufacturers flexibility in both small- and large-batch runs. In this demonstration, the FS-30 will be paired with an inline labeler applying labels to lip balm containers, showcasing the seamless integration of feeding and labeling operations. This configuration underscores Shibuya Hoppmann’s ability to deliver turnkey automation systems that streamline production, improve accuracy, and reduce operator intervention.

In addition to the live demonstration showcasing the pre-feeder, centrifugal feeder and labeling system, attendees can explore Shibuya Hoppmann’s full portfolio of automation solutions engineered for a wide range of industries. The company’s modular approach allows each system to be optimized individually or as part of a fully integrated line, giving manufacturers the flexibility to adapt to evolving production requirements while maintaining high levels of efficiency and throughput.
