On the heels of a season's worth of news and co-pack industry advocacy, Toronto-based Nulogy, developer of leading co-pack software solution provider, debuted two new product enhancements at the 2015 PACK EXPO in Las Vegas in September:
- Intelligent Data Discovery featuring dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards to augment the shop-floor monitoring, and
- Integrated Production Scheduling to better manage multiple customers’ projects within the integrated production scheduling and live production management of its flagship system, PackManager. The company reports that this feature "intelligently attributes inventory and consumables to current, committed, and upcoming projects."
These enhancements were demonstrated by Nulogy David Starnino, vice president of sales (pictured), at the 2015 PACK EXPO in Las Vegas, and closely followed these recent developments:
- A presentation by Nulogy & DHL at the Chief Supply-Chain Officer Forum Brazil & Latin America on the continuing growth and co-pack opportunities emerging in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Nulogy’s platform affords DHL “the capability and agility to manage their Latin American contract packaging operation with real-time visibility and consistency,” said Jason Tham, Nulogy CEO.
- A commitment from Pico, Rivera, CA-based Bay Cities, provider of point-of-purchase displays and retail packaging, to implement PackManager to better integrate its warehouse, distribution center, transportation capabilities, and inventory management, and connect with its current Amtech software system.
- The addition earlier this year, the company added custom unit-of-measure capability to its flagship, cloud-based PackManager system to enhance production and inventory tracking.
