PET bottle exteriors are sterilized with vaporized hydrogen peroxide during a summer test run on a new aseptic bottling line at WeserGold’s plant in Rinteln, Germany.

Music Mountain Water needed labeling equipment capable of running in excess of 350 bottles/min. But fast changeover and a compact footprint were also crucial. This Trine glue-applied roll-fed labler filled the bill.

Bowls are conveyed into full-surround flights that provide a 360 degree deck that perfectly centers each tamper-evident band. A combination of buckets is selected to dump the amount of snacks that best meet a bag’s target weight.

After film is pulled through a vf/f/s section and bags are filled with coffee, a heater bar heat seals the top of the bags. Later, a tin-tie is automatically applied and folded for each bag. Finally, each bag has tape applied to its top and the bags are then discharged from the machine.

Corrugated blanks are pulled from a magazine and automatically set up by this machine, which replaces a manual operation.

A Videojet ink-jet coder that marks the lid of each 1-lb can of coffee with a production date code. It replaced an older and less efficient model.

At Advertising Resources, workers load cartoned product onto a flighted infeed conveyor, two cartons per flight in this instance. Cartons are conveyed downstream into polyvinyl chloride film.
