ASSET was developed by Alcan Packaging to give its customers the means to evaluate the environmental, social and economic sustainability of a packaging structure throughout its entire life cycle, from “cradle to grave.”
Incorporating internationally recognized standards, ASSET provides CPG manufacturers with a process to
compare packaging options and weigh the sustainability performance of differing packaging structures. It allows
them to make better decisions about the impact of their brand packaging with analytically-based knowledge of the
benefits, risks and costs of different types of packaging.
