Wash-down card sheeter

Benchmark Automation has introduced a new wash-down-rated servo card sheeter capable of cutting cards and transferring them into the flights of any horizontal wrapper at speeds to 500 cards/min.

Full servo controls are incorporated using independent servo-motor drives for the card feed roll and cutoff knife. Changes can be made "on the fly" to the card length, card position in the lug, and knife pressure across the card. Sheeter includes a dual-roll stand to accept hand-loaded rolls of cardstock from an operator and automatically cuts stock from 2" to 12"L and 2" to 7"W. System is also available with perforation wheels for use in U-board applications.
